Is anyone else in the process of completing an ITA and got a letter saying the points process is are changing on November 26? It states that if the changes affect (ie would lead to your points dropping) you should lodge your application before November 26.
Unhelpfully they don't tell you whether your application is affected and as usual it is explained in a less than straightforward way.
We go to NZ for our first trip on November 25 and weren't going to lodge until we came back and were sure it was what we wanted to do. Now I'm all in a quandry. From what I can see it doesn't affect me. My awarded points are for work experience, no job offer and no recognised qualification (I have a degree but not work related). I have looked at the table they mention and my trade seems to be Skill Level 1 which appears to be the highest level and I have 18 years experience.
Any one else understand what the changes are?
