They say they will send you an email when they recieve your application, any idea on how long this normally takes? Sent mine of a week ago via Royal Mail international signed for so would have thought they would had it by now.
I can only track my packet up to when it was handed over to the NZ postal service.

Hi Andjul,
I was in a similar situation in July when I had sent in my Q.A.R application. NZQA it seems, takes it easy but nevertheless processes applications for sure !! :yes
I suggest wait for 10 working days before writing to them. NZQA will acknowledge receipt of your application once it actually credits your fee.

Thanks, its a nerve wracking process, i suppose i just get a bit paranoid about them losing my stuff in the post or something and expecting instant replies.
Must try to take it a bit more easy :)

They never sent me an e-mail or any other type of notification of receipt. After a week I rang their call centre and they confirmed right off that they had received the application. It took three weeks for them to assess me and mail the results to me. So if you are concerned, give them a ring. Oh and very often the evaluators assigned to your case may only work one day a week, as mine did, so that's why things take a while.

Hi,
I sent my oh quals off on the 28th August, received an email on the 10th of September, saying that they had received it. Stilll waiting, I last rang two weeks ago and was informed that they where still dealing with applications from the month of August.
Good luck

I think there's something fishy about that. I sent my application in for full assessment on Sept. 21 and received the completed evaluation in the mail October 15. If you didn't fast-track it that could be the reason, otherwise you've probably been assigned to one of those very part-time evaluators. If you ring the contat centre they will at least tell you your evaluator's hours and probably get you in contact with them. That's assuming you have an evaluator of course.

I rang again last night, spoke to a lady called Heather, she dug out OH application form, and was informed that it would be assessed early next week and dispatched by end of week.
Received an email of her today, confirming above.
Keep your fingers and everything else crossed.

Karen
PS didn’t pay for fast track

Good to hear, and they actually sent you an e-mail, that's good news. Hopefully you'll have it soon.

The tracking service actually updates once the package has been delivered, but your application can sit for a couple of months before anyone looks at it. Only then do they acknowledge reciept.

We've experienced similar non response from NZQA. Sent docs 21 September, the fee was debited but heard nothing from them. Finally phoned about a week ago and have been informed that we are still to be allocated an evaluator(?). Need to phone them regulalry from now I think. Our concern is that institutions might close here (South Africa) over the festive season and NZQA's possible verification of diplomas etc might be delayed...until next year?...that would be too long...:no
