Hi thought I'd introduce myself now we've finally decided to go for it! Been thinking of moving to NZ for at least the past decade - never a right time til now! we've got 3 kids and want to be in NZ before they go to secondary school - nearly 2 year window! So sent off for passports today then EOI as soon as we get passports back. Mentally I'm there already but from what I've read from all the lovely people on this forum I'm in for some hoop jumping/dissapointments and nail-biting. Is it all worth it?

Hi! Welcome to the forum! It's amazing how quickly it becomes addictive...

For us it has been a huge rollercoaster of highs and lows. We started the paperwork in earnest last December, and had just had a job offer too. It all looks rosy at the moment, but we aren't there yet.... getting closer though :)

Hi all !
So far my questions are few - just sorting passports (and a birth cert copy seem to have lost mine) before submitting EOI but you're right Carey this seems to be the forum of answers and solutions! I'm a nurse, husbands a paramedic and we're hoping to settle in Hawkes Bay -got family there. Good luck for all those waiting for EOI's to be selected its tomorrow next selection isn't it? Will be checking out for peoples good news.
