Well folks, it has all happened. House is packed (removals come on Monday), Bags packed and over the limit! - luckily we have booked a slot with a freight company and managed to get a cheaper price compared with doing it at the airport (a difference of about £5 per kilo!).

Expect to exchange contracts on the house in a couple of weeks (touch wood).

Only on a 12 month visa, but PR is well advanced and will be transferred to Auckland.

Start our Jobs on the 26th...and my Powhiri has been arranged for Friday before :)

Just need to get a couple of cars and find a suitable apartment to rent for the next six months...of course all to be done by next Friday - no pressure:nice1

And from making the decision to now has only taken 18 weeks - wow! I think I need to have a nap!!

Anyhow it's been extremely useful being able to read about the different topics posted on this site and we are grateful for the help and advice we have had from people over the past few months - thank you :clap
