Hi all,
My brother is flying into Welly airport on Sat 24th. As he's made this surprise visit .... on the day we are moving!!!!! :roll .... it is unlikely we'll be able to collect him. Any suggestions please on him finding his way to us either by shuttle bus (what service), taxi or coach. Don't want him to come by train. If anyone has some info on best course of action I'd be very grateful. Also price comparisons would help.

Taxi will be VERY expensive! As for shuttles - there are a few who advertise in the back of the Kapiti Observer on a Monday and Thursday (don't have one to hand, but there are usually at least a couple). We just got a taxi to the Railway Station and the train up to P'ram. That was easy, but if you don't want the train, then the shuttles are probably the best. There's no direct bus as far as I know.

Jon many thanks for that. I've just this minute had confirmation about the train & it does seem the best & cheapest way.
