Do any parts of NZ have domestic gas on tap as is common throughout the UK or is it all electric?
Thanks

Some parts of NZ have natural gas on tap, if not then a lot of people use bottled LPG instead.
If you want piped gas, then you would need to check it is available in 'your street'.
If you are interested in gas for heating then a lot of homes also use wood burners or heat pumps.

Hi Gareth
Reticulated Natural gas is available in most large cities in the north island although depending upon the amount you use and for what purpose it may be more economic to have an LPG installation as gas line charges are $1.30 / day . if you use gas for cooking, heating and hot water its not such an issue.
