Hi, We're in transit on the way to NZ, arrive on the 29th. I've had to leave the UK with a bad tooth problem arising from some apalling dentistry. I had a root canal, but there are problems with it and I urgently need to find a really good person to sort it out so I can lose the pain.

I don't want my initial experience of being an immigrant to be all about pain!

We'll be in the Auckland area for nearly a week and it would be best to deal with it straight away as we're still covered by our paltry travel insurance. Following that, however we'll be in Dunedin and then working our way up in our new home, a 6 metre truck through all the big towns and cities.

Please help put me out of my misery. thanks

Don't know if they are any good but I found the names of 3 endodontists in auckland. One in the CBD of the city and two in Remuera. Here they are:

Lala Harish C Endodontist
09-524 8293
3 Ely Ave Remuera Auckland

Parkins David J Endodontist
09-524 8293
3 Ely Ave Remuera Auckland

Naoum Hani J S Endodontist
09-377 2922
Ground Floor, Quay Park House 68 Beach Rd Auckland Central Auckland

Just wanted to let you know I was in exactly the same position, had a root canal, went off to Vegas, had incredible pain and a swollen cheek, I found a regular dentist (you dont want to be paying for endodontist in the US) and he gave me strong antibiotics and strong painkillers and the swelling started to go down immediately. So maybe you only need to see a regular dentist but if its covered by your travel insurance, go for the endodontist. Good luck..
