Our status just changed to "Decision Successful!!" Woohoo!
:raebanana :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana

It is my husband's birthday today, so this is quite a present!! :yes

I've never even received the EOI Welcome Packet that some of you have mentioned.

Does anyone (in the US) know how long it takes from Decision Successful until you receive the actual ITA?

Time to go celebrate! :cheers

That's terrific, guys! All the best! :nice1 By the way, if anyone who was selected earlier is hmmmming to themselves 'cos their own status hasn't changed, I have a vague idea that NZIS might be processing priority-list-occupation no-job EOIs (and/or higher points EOIs) before other no-job EOIs. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS CORRECT, but there's at least one reference on this forum whereby someone spoke with NZIS (or a Marketing Director??) and got from them the suggestion that POL EOIs were being looked at first.
And doesn't this, if true, more or less seem to fit the case of who has had a status change already?

Cheers,
Matt.

Congratulations!!!

I got decision successful on December 30th and the postmark on my ITA when it arrived was also December 30th so it seems they post it the same day!! But it came from London not Washington or LA

I can only assume they are processing the Long Term and Immediate Skills Shortage folks first, at least that is my understanding of the 18 December change. Or maybe points. I claimed 130 points originally, then was boosted to 140 with the rule change. I also specified my primary occupation as "Senior Support Specialist" which is on the LTSS.

It's definitely a weight off, however over lunch my wife and I had one of those "oh wow!" moments where we went from waiting to this is going to happen, and soon.

Good luck to those with EOIs selected, you'll be selected before you know it.

That's awesome, DMC! Congrats! :cheers

I wonder if other Americans got some good news yesterday, too?

It seems that they took the USA pile (all 7 of us) and ran them all through quickly. There were probably a few UKers with their Decision Successful, but I find it rather coincidental that three US-bound applicants all received Successful on the same date with varying Selected dates.

Thanks RoadRunner.

I was wondering as well if there were any other Pats that received news as well. Keep us posted if your ITA shows up.

Excellent News - Well Done :clap :clap

We had a letter through advising that we would receive an interview/ phone call by the end of Jan, we are only at the Selected stage. I thought the interview phone call was after the ITA has been submitted :?

Hi guys - seems at least one of us in the UK joined the club yesterday as well :cheers

Got home this afternoon and there is a card saying the postman tried to deliver a letter that needed signing for - as I am not expecting anything else, I am assuming they send the ITA out the same day as the status is changed! So they must be in the on their way over the pond now :P
