Is there any dentist,hygienist or therapist out there who has made the jump to New Zealand? I am hoping to get over next year and am currently joining the NZDC. The immigration dept have been great with help and said that I need job offers during my visa application but first I must be registered. My concern was being given a job offer but not being able to get over for another 6mths at least. They reckon this is common and dentists will happily wait for a hygienist to get there as they are in short supply. How did you get on? Any advice? Much appreciated,Lorna

I'm a UK dentist, with an NZ job offer currently going through DCNZ registration. We are travelling to NZ in 2 weeks for a holiday and hope to move full time in Dec 08.

I am happy for you to PM with any questions and I'll do my best to answer them for you. I am just going through the process myself so I may not know all the answers but I may be able to help.
