1 Pound Swiss Cheese = Ermm convert? 0.35kg = $4.14 (from Deli)
Loaf of Bread = $1.62 (but clearly depends type etc as huge variety)
Fill my Mondeo up Gas = $85 (with 15c off from countdown voucher)

it is a bit difficult, NZ uses metric.

http://www.foodtown.co.nz

We pay $80 a month for ADSL with 30GB transfer, although the company do charge us less if we use less (Xnet).

Petrol's what, $1.75 a litre or something? Diseasel's about $1.25.

Yes. A pound is a kilogram divided by 2.2, and a gallon is usually 4.54 litres (but I think a US gallon is different:roll ).
But hopefully Danlondono will get a broad idea of prices.

Can't help with any of the prices - but you can do a virtual shop with Woolworth (I think I Googled 'Woolworth NZ' or something similar) quite an interesting way to spend an evening - in a sad 'obsessed with NZ' way!!

are you comparing prices to see if you get more or less at the grocery shop from home country to NZ?
If so, take in consideration what you would earn here!
I thought it was cheap while still having european work and european pay, when here I got heaps less pay and now it is expensive to do grocery shopping.

I do buy power per how many minutes do I have to work to buy what I want to buy.
