I recently posted the 'change of plans' thread and was wondering if there were any (mainly boys) 9 to 14 year olds out there who would be happy to say hello to my boys, Tom 12, and Danny 10?
Danny is seriously considering coming out with us, but Tom is not too sure, Tom enjoys quite alot of sport, and Danny is less enthusiastic on that front, but is a very sensitive and thoughtful boy.
If anyone would like to let them know about schools, making friends - this is one of the things Tom is a little bothered about - "all my friends are here", what they do at the weekend, how they felt about going to NZ.
It would really mean alot to me and them if they were able to talk to kids their own age who have been through it themselves (and come out the other end!!!).
My email address is: madgemadge_2(at)hotmail.com
Are there any books or dvds worth getting that especially focus on children emmigrating?

Thanks
Cath X :)

Cath - only just seen this thread, but my eldest son, Ayrton, who's twelve, says he will chat to your son (as long as you type mum!!!)

I've sent you a pm with my details!

No Cath, no letter yet, we're going to kick them up the bum a bit this week!

I know there's a 'young peoples' forum for NZ - if you Google 'New Zealand Forums' it comes up about 4 listings below this one. Check it out yourself first 'tho because once when I looked they were discussing 'dodgy' stuff (think weeds!) I think Cal got chatting to a couple of Kiwi lads through My Space, but again he's older than Danny, and My Space may not be appropriate.

Thinking of you! C x
