After my first post and a few weeks marvelling at the discovery of this brilliant forum .... I thought it might be polite to say hello!
We had a great time earlier in the year touring NZ and would love to settle in Hawkes Bay or possibly the Bay of Plenty. But I guess OH's work may dictate where we end up initially ( Mechanic, thanks JamestheMechanic....I think it was one of your posts that led us to this site!)
What's really great (apart from all the helpful advice and info we've gained already) is just knowing how many people have successfully managed to make it to NZ. Through what seems like a massive mountain of puzzling forms and processes at the beginning. It's quite reassurring to know just how many people are wondering and worrying about the same things!!! I am still praying that our EOI is OK and like lots of you, now waiting!!!!!
Well it was waiting for the house to sell (and a change to the points) that spurred us into submitting the EOI at last. At least we feel we are doing something productive in the meantime.
Thanks once again for all the really helpful posts and I hope that we can contribute in some way too.
