Was reading the posts about hamilton and quite like the idea of living there as supposed to christchurch.

Anybody have any suggestions about good areas/bad areas to avoid?

Prefebly in good school zones....

I am not an auhority on Hamilton but have visited B-in_law there twice.

Pukete and Flagstaff is nice, also Chart well. As for schools check out this site.

I've heard Hamilton is very lovely. BUT, I've also heard it rains a lot. I can handle the rain, but I've got some good friends in Napier, so I may head there instead.
