I have recently spoken to a friend who has been to the UK a number of times and has travelled right through from London to Scotland and back down the East Coast.
She has recommended a tour guide to do when myself and partner go over in August next year.
I'm sure she said it was called 'slow coach' and she told me you can pick up the coach in London and it takes you right up to Scotland, with stops on the way, and you can basically get off at any designated stop, stay the night (or 2 ) at a hostel, and can then pick up another coach as and when, to continue the journey as there are about 4 coaches a day that stop and pick up at these designated areas/
Has anyone heard of this company ??
I have tried googling it but only comes up with a website on Tortoises :D
(Could be cool but a Tortoise maybe a bit slow !!)

Any sites people can recommend would be real appreciated :0)

Hi,
I have not heard of slow coach but national express do

http://www.nationalexpress.com/save/britxplorer/info.cfm Brit saver which is the same sort of thing. You pay a set amount for a number of days then you can go anywhere you like.

Hope this helps
