I'm trying to gather all the documentation together for the ITA (while waiting for it to actually arrive).

I thought the "Guide for Applying for Residence" might help but it does not appear to be for those in "skilled migrant" category. Is there some other online guide I should be using? Or does the packet you get have all the info you need? (I should note that the London Branch Web site does have a checklist but it is not thorough enough to answer all questions.)

Does anyone know if you need some type of certification for your college degree?

Also, is there a time limit on letters to verify employment? (If so, does the time limit only apply to current employer?)

Another question is whether you need ALL marriage/divorce certificates. For example, if you were married/divorced before current marriage, do you need to provide proof of both marriages (and first divorce)?

Also, what's the general time it takes for NZIS to process the ITA? Anyone know? I thought I'd heard about 4 months but I'm wondering if that is on the long side.

If anyone has any info, I really appreciate it!

Terry Murphy (Portland NZIS Marketing guy) said for education all you need is a letter (probably on official letterhead) from the school stating that you in fact attended X Uni and earned the degree of BS in BS. You do not need official transcripts.

I have no ideas about prior marriages, but unless its for some sort of entitlement or alimony/child support, I don't see why you would need anything other than your current marriage license to your present "partner" so they can come over to NZ with you. Of course I'd make sure she has her passport in her married name. My wife has yet to do this and it might raise a question or two why her passport doesn't match my ITA...

Roadrunner,
When you receive your ITA it will tell you what you are required to provide at the end of each section. You should also have a check sheet included in the pack when it is sent out.

Cheers
