If a used car is described as a "full facelift model," what does that mean exactly? I imagine it means the car required body work as the result of an accident or some other mishap? Thanks

Car manufacturers like to cosmetically alter models from year to year by changing (for example) headlights, grills, bumpers, wheel trims, so that 2007's model is distinguishable from 2006's, even though the car is for all practical purposes the same. "Full facelift model" would by implication be the later specification model, and is thus more "desirable".

Also as a model ages the makers add more bells and whistles to maintain sales.
