Does anyone know when the next selection will take place exactly??

I surprisingly got my nzqa report back yesterday with the level required to ask for bonus points for qualification in an area absolute skills shortage. I wasn't sure how my degree would me assessed as the French system can be quite different from the NZ one.

I noticed from previous years that the selections at the beginning of the year are very tough and hopefully I will be able to submit my EOI in time for the next December selection...OH I started filling it out yesterday night and it could take longer than we initially thought.

hi,
i asked immigration London this yesterday. The next selection is 19th December but processing times would be slower over the christmas period.

I would expect the first few posts after christmas to be 140 point or job offer only due to the number of applications recieved during this period.

It's OK, I submitted the EOI last night :)

My EOI has been selected today.
I think I fall in the
"All EOIs claiming 10 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 100 and 135 points".
I'm just a bit confused as it is only in march that i will have the 3 years relevant experience required on the LTSSL.
But on the EOI I could only choose "2 but less than 4" years of experience and that's how I obtained the 10 points.
Maybe I'm being paranoid but I would have prefered to be selected just for qualification. Then I would not have any doubts.

NZIS Wellington branch is closed from 24/12 @12noon to 03/01/2008. I am sure most of the NZIS offices worldwide are closed those days too.
