In about 5 hours we'll be on our way to the Philippines, where we'll be staying for the next month visiting my wife's extended family. On January 15th we'll be leaving Manila for Christchurch.

Everything's as sorted as it can be: visas approved and passports ready, job waiting for the OH, school waiting for me, and temporary accommodation booked.
