Hi - I have my flights booked with Emirates, from Manchester to Auckland via Dubai.

Has anyone successfully negotiated any extra luggage allowance with Emirates? I have booked business class, so I get 30kg for starters.

We flew with Emirates and we had 40 kgs as we were emmigrating, you'll need to have one way ticket and proof of PR.

We joined the skyward club and got extra baggage allowance in Business class 43kg I think, we had flown with them before and got skywards points. Give them a ring we found them really helpful.
