I cannot imagine that christmas in the heat would be good, how cold is it on stewart island in december?
Are there any Christmas trips to stay in Antarctica - similar to visiting Lapland in Norway from the UK, ?

I've been told that December can be wet & windy so home from home really.

What heat ? ;) Needs to sort itself out or we're looking at another day of near constant rain and a breezy 15 degree like last year rather than a day in the sea in Raumati

This will be our third Xmas in NZ and not expecting anything from the weather. Both previous years have been wet, with the SI one pretty much pouring down all day and windy with it. Not exactly the beach / BBQ type Xmas we envisaged... but then what about NZ has been?? I think sometimes that we maybe confused it with Oz...

The Kiwi's think they live in a tropical country. I have some very bad news for them....
