Hi all and seasons greetings
I have had my medical done in the UK and am still awaiting our police reports from Oz. As soon as those arrive we'll submit our partnership application. Do I need to actually submit the X-ray to NZIS or is this only for the Doctor performing the medical? Reason being I've left my X-Ray at my sisters house and otherwise will need to go fetch it.
Thanks
Jon

Im sure it needs submitting....hopefully someone else will confirm aswell. We had medical and x rays on the same day and the doc didn't look at xrays, they just went off all together.

I handed in my ITA at NZ House and they did not request the Xrays, this is because the results of the Xrays should be in your medical form that you got from the NZIS website. Immigration is not interested in the Xrays themselves just in the info that the doctor writes in the medical forms.

We recently had our xrays and meds.
No, the xrays do not need to go if they show no problems as the xray certificate says all is well.
It should say somewhere in your application form if you need to send it if you want to confirm.

Beat me to it. :nice1
How easy was it to hand your forms in? Did they check through it and give your originals back?

I handed in all my certified copies / NZQA assessment plus our passports, make sure you put everything in sequence as on your checklist. This will make them happy:D . They will check everything while you are there and request the payment.
They are open from 10:00 - 15:15 and you just grab a number and wait for them to call your number. They are very friendly :nice1 .

I handed in my application in Auckland and took my X rays just in case, and was told by the clerk that they didnt want my Xrays. When the appliction got to the Medical people they asked for the Xrays and I was advised in a letter that I should have handed in the Xrays with the original application!
go figure.

Hi
We had our medicals and xrays done at the same time. The Doctor looked at them and noted on our application they were clear and then gave them to us to keep! They are now tucked away in a box somewhere. :yes
