I had job offer from ALcatel-Lucent and i signed conract
I am waiting for my 3 years working visa
I wanted to know if anybody else has job offer from ALcatel-Lucent so we can share information and help each other

Sorry, no job offer but my OH is very envious of yours! He works in IT Networks.

I can pass on what he does know:

- they are the biggest provider of communication services in NZ
- they have offices in Wellington and their data operations are in Hamilton

My friend from overseas also got a work offer from Alcatel-Lucent and salary is HUGE!

I assume you will be a contract worker? So there will be no taxes deducted to your salary but you still have to pay your taxes during tax period.

Their employer was (I can say) nice because they also helped him in getting his family here.

I had dealing with them as a customer re my job and found them to be very good. Someone on this board works there now and find them very flexible. They may have PM you already. Good luck is it in Welly or Auckland?

So have I and waiting for my police clearance certificate here in India and then work permit. were your immigration things being done by Fragomen as well? I am going to be in Welly.
