OH has some time off work, and we've treated ourselves to a tent and some sleeping bags for Christmas, so we thought we'd head off somewhere rural for a few days' post Christmas activity. There is a DOC campsite at Lake Hawea which caught our eye. Can anyone tell us greenies how busy it's likely to be this time of year and whether the facilities are suitable for two young children? :o
