have looked into shipping a self-packed 20' container and these were the best options to date. they seem a bit high - will post anything better that comes up. 40' approx 30% more £ (take the car!). prices do vary slightly depending on time of year/ location. travel time approx 5 weeks.

that first one seems reasonably good. but I understood that the 2 1/2 hours to load was standard so would double check to see if its the case with them. might also be worth ascertaining that the cost of the trailer to your UK door is in there.

did you take your gear this way or was it a traditional move? will check on trailer cost - tho presume its in there as he said 'everything' included.

weather crap today - high winds, cold, grey, brutal. just to let you know what you are missing...

As an HGV driver, do you think i would get discount if i drove it to the port myself as well as picking up in Auckland and delivering it myself???? Just a thought :laugh :laugh
