HI Friends :yes ,

Please guide me on how to get a job in NZ.
I have submited my ITA with documents second week of December .As it is holiday season so no updates from NZIS.

I dont have any job offer in NZ. I have been trying over JOb sites , they prefer me to be in NZ for interview.

Seniors / friends , can you tell me , do we need to go to NZ to get a job , or is it possible over job sites ( no luck till now ).

As my Application is in process , is it good for me to wait until everything is done in my present country or should i move to NZ and search job .

If i get a job in NZ will NZIS process my PR any faster .

In NZ do companies prefer person who has PR , or they are ok without it .

Is it ok if i can state that i have applied for PR in interviews.

please help help help .

Here are some answer answer answers! (mostly from information from others on the forum which I will try and summarise...)
Common opinion on the forum is that it is much easier to land a job offer if you are in NZ. Some have managed to get one from overseas, however, particularly in high demand jobs. Since you will be getting PR anyway you have the luxury of waiting for this to be issued, then travelling to NZ. What you do in this regard depends totally on your own circumstances and desired timeframe. Telling a prospective employer that you have applied for PR can only help, as it shows them that you are serious about making the move (and I am sure that they will ultimately prefer it if you already have PR as it will allow you to start work asap, but with work permits being easy to obtain it is not critical, and, the position doesn't have to fulfil as many criteria if you already hold PR). NZIS will fasttrack your PR if you do get an offer in the meantime.
Good luck:nice1
