I thought I would post this here too.

Is it odd to receive an abundance of homework (not when you're sick) as a daily routine? My daughter always has homework, at least and hour or two per night, and I remember having quite a bit of it growing up myself. I know there will always be homework, but what is considered a lot over there?

It was my daughter who was sent the homework, but donb't forget it is a private prep school not state.

In the Uk private schools do tend to push thier pupils harders than state.

She wasn't required to do any of it but if she was up to it so she wouldn't have too much to catch up on.
