Does anyone know if a UK fax machine will work in NZ? Is it worth bringing one out with us, or should we buy a new one out there? And if so how much is that likely to cost us?
My MIL is fantastic, but she shies away from reading any "official" letters, FIL used to deal with all paperwork in their home and after he died she relied on hubby to check her bills and letters and so on rather than deal with them herself. Now that we are emigrating she's being very suportive of us, but I know that she's devastated, so we need to continue to help her as much as we possibly can given the distance. It's taken us a year, but she's now got a computer, mastered email and the next challenge is the webcam/ MSN combo for chat :nice1 . But she is very nearly 80, and scanning and emailing documents seems to be just one challenge too far, so we're thinking that a fax will be an easier alternative for her:confused: .

We brought our phone/fax machine with us from the UK and it worked fine .
