Hmmmm, your thread listing other web sites was not really what I wanted, as a lot of the guys on here don't build their own house, they get a builder to do it. I am the builder. If it all goes wrong there is no safety net.

I was thinking more of a mutual self help group.

You know, the how and why did the council say yes or no to something, and how do you change the mind of such organisations... When the block layer / roofer / plumber / drainlayer says he can or cannot do something how do you argue the point?
