when OH came over for an interview he was very impressed with the suburb of Flagstaff in Hamilton - we are hoping to be in NZ at end of Jan/Feb would anyone be able to tell me if they know of any rental in that area -we will only have one car and would rather be renting in the area we hope to buy.
Im getting so nervous about this big move - but keep getting so comforted with all the great aadvise from this forum. THANK YOU THANK YOU

I don't know the area but we live just outside Hamilton and have heard good reports of the area.

We arrived a few weeks ago and are renting a place in the neighbouring suburb of Rototuna-the link above is excellent and will give you all the info you need.
We've had a look around Flagstaff and it looks a lovely well established suburb full of quality houses-you'll have no problems there.

We're also in neighbouring Rototuna. Flagstaff is a lovely location. I wonder if you have children tho - not sure if you need to think about schools.

Hi Pinkpiggy thanks for your advise - we dont have school going kids - have an 18 year old son who will be attending Uni once we settled. We heard today that our passports with Blue stickers included should arrive next week - and now Im really panicking - so many things to worry about - how our son will settle in - leaving his two older brothers here in SA - will we find a nice home and and and......Will so look forward to meeting a few ofthe wonderful people who have been so kind to offer us advise along this bumpy trip of obtaining our PR.
