I have a degree in Computer Science and got it from a regcognised Uni. I'm unsure if i need to get it assessed before i submit my EOI? I thought i didn't but after a couple of posts i think i might.

Well the current practice is that if you don't have a job offer while your ITA is being processed, NZIS will ask you for a Q.A.R irrespective of your qualifications being recognized or not.

whatever you do don't get it pre-assessed - we did this and it in no way benefitted us ...
NZIS asked for a full assessment anyway ! :confused:

it applies to the individual who is the main applicant ... if you are the main applicant and your partner is "in" your application so to speak, then her qualifications do not need to be assessed ....

I think they may need to be assessed if you are claiming points for them but again not sure...
