Hi guys,

Yep, it's me posting yet another thread! Thanks for all the help/advice I've received so far.. it's such a useful forum!

Basically, I just wondered whether anyone can shed any light on the situation with getting a job offer.

Do INZ check that you actually take up the job (I am guessing they must do!) and also is there a time frame within which you must stay at the job if you do accept one. Any advice appreicated.

Thanks, Jo :laugh

hiya
yes as far as i know they check - its a 2 way thing with the company that hires you and the NZIS and 3 months i think are needed in one job to validate the visa - wait for others advice though

We had to submit job offer and contract and employers sorted what level of detail required for NZIS - position, type of employment fixed term/permanent etc hours of work, location and reasons why employing from overseas. I think with PR you have to stay with same employer for first 3 months but happy to be proved wrong :D

Hope this helps and good luck
Karen
