Just back from DHL who will make sure our ITA arrives safely at 80 Haymarket.
:cheers Hope to hear from them soon!!!

For all South African folk, it is definitely worth the delays and frustrations. :roll Our biggie has been Home Affairs, :wah who took an unbelievable amount of persuasion to supply me with 4 X unabridged birth certificates. Our police clearance almost expired, our medicals and IELTS test were also busy getting older by the day, and thankfully we received the last one 2 days before Christmas. We decided to send all originals and copies and did not do it over the christmas rush because people may be out of office.

Hi ames - can quite understand the frustrations with our good ol' Home Affairs. We applied for unabridged birth certifcate for our son at same time applying in Zimbabwe for OH and mine. Took 10 weeks to get our sons and only 3 days from those in Zimbabwe!!! We have got all the papers in now and even called NZI in UK and been told the PR is on its way with all documents and passports - will believe it when DHL arrives at our door!! Hope to hear good news from you soon - and we see you on the other side.

Regards
Jayne

Thanks Ian and Jane. Great to hear that the Zim stuff was sorted with little stress and trauma. Home Affairs will never, ever be forgotten, though.

Excellent news with your PR on its way. Only bad thing is that I am jealous!!!

Will definitely need to catch up on the other side!
