Hiya....after a bit of advice (as usual). We are looking for things to do on our second visit to NZ (Feb 08) and would like to know what you think of the Lostworld adventure? Apparently, its a 300ft abseil into a cave system, followed by a trek (if that is the right word?!) through the caves.
Anyone done it? Would you recommend it? Rach, my wife, thinks it would be fab. We did the black water rafting last time, so are looking for something different.
Any info much appreciated. We are soooooo excited bout coming to NZ again!! Wooooohooooooo:raebanana
Cheers

It's not for anyone who doesn't like heights (or more particularly - drops :D ) as you end up suspended for quite some time over nothing. I did it a few years back and it was great fun. You absail down into a huge chasm, then basically walk flat through the caverns until you emerge at ground level further down the hillside. The abseiling was easy (I actually found it painfully slow - but then I'm an ex-climber :) ) and they give you wet suits because you can end up up to your chest in water.
Recommended!
