Hi all

Hopefully aiming for job offer but...
if the job has a set start date would it be quicker/better to get work permit or wait for EOI? My job is on the ISSL.

I need job offer to get enough EOI points so can't submit that yet, if I've understood the form :{
Also how much does the work permit cost?

Hi tea Drinker.

We didn't have time to wait for PR once I'd received a job offer, so we went for the Work Visa option, and they were processed in around 2 weeks. I've subsequently applied for PR - like you, we needed the job offer to have enough points.

Good luck!

Hi Jane thanks for answering!
Glad that you have got there:raebanana (Always wanted to give someone a banana!!!) although from your other post local drivers are proving interesting?
Im also in the situation of selling a house.
Im trying to decide whether to sell and come over without a job & then get a job but someone is telling me about a job soon to be advertised and they are asking when I am planning to come etc. Timing is very stressful.
Wishing that you settle in and have a great time.
