The applicable US website indicates that police reports are generally issued within 14-16 weeks after receipt of application but may be issued more quickly if requested. I didn't want to wait for four months so I did indeed request a report to be issued within about seven weeks of my application. Was surprised to receive the report about three weeks later. Thought this might be interest to some of you out there...
