Hope someone can help - sorry if this has been asked umpteen times before... I have a conviction for theft about 23 years ago (£25 fine) - if I wish to visit NZ on holiday for 3 weeks will I need a visa? (Irish passport holder)

TIA

The NZ entry form you sign when you arrive in the country, does not ask questions about past criminal record. I doubt that a theft conviction that carried a 25 pound fine would be classed as a criminal conviction anyway, it would be more like a misdeanor.
Ireland is one of the countries where you dont require a visa to come to NZ for up to 3 months

here is the arrival form you complete on arrival
