Hi,

We are hoping to arrive in Welly in March time as I have a job to start mid-March. We have a 20 month old son and my wife is quite keen to meet up with other Mums - especially ones with kids of a similar age. Is there a group in Welly that she could join to meet up or are there Mums on here that meet up regularly - I guess its a kind of Mums and Tots type thing. Meeting for coffee/chat whilst letting the kids play etc.

I have to say I'm sure you will meet up very quickly with other Mums around the area you end up living in - we have been in NZ for 4 months and I have to say it really is such a friendly place.
We bought a house and have only been in this area (Kelson,Lower Hutt) for 4 weeks and already I have made so many new friends with the local Mums - mainly through the local playgroup at the community centre.

Our three children are 4yrs (girl), and two boys - (2yrs and a 6 month old) - a handful!

PM me if your wife would like to arrange to meet up when you arrive (Or anyone else in the area!). Would be great to meet.

We are in Lower Hutt - so about 15min drive out of Wellington.
