We are busy packing up and have a Soda Stream which we thought of bringing but not too sure if they will work in NZ - any ideas?

Yes, they are everywhere here, very popular and you can find them or stuff for them in most places.

a little machine that you add a bottle full of water plus flavour then press button on top of machine to add little gas into bottle, hence soda!

wow- I've never heard of such a machine. Do you have to get cartridges for them, or do they use atmospheric air?

Does it taste like normal carbonation?

I'd like to try one out now, just so I can make my own fizzy juices!

Yep, you get cartridges for gas that you put inside it, they are small about 30cm long?
For soda stream, I am not sure how easy available in USA, maybe ask other USA's member about it. You usually can find them where they sell toaster, sandwiches maker etc in the stores like UK. Just ask for soda stream, then someone will point right direction. If you plan to buy in NZ, they are everywhere!

No wonder I've never seen it, there's only 4 places in my state that sell it!

I think I'll just wait until I get to NZ, especially since I'm hoping to move this coming summer/winter? (haha- July)
