Aim to complete 22nd Feb as they are ready to proceed.

For those of you still waiting the agent said ours was the 3rd they have sold this week and things are definitely picking up - so that will be encouraging new for you !

We sold on Saturday too! Did all the paperwork last night and hope to complete late Feb. We accepted 4k under our price as well. We thought it was worth it in the current market. Our buyer has a first time buyer for their house and they're keen to complete asap. As there's only 2 links in the chain we're hoping for an easy transaction

I'm not too enthused about the NZD/GBP exchange rate at the moment !

yeah, we could do with the NZD dropping a bit and the £ gaining some ground....

Still, we've got a good deposit for a nice house in NZ. We may lose a bit with the exchange rate but I keep telling myself we'll still be better off than in Basingstoke!
