My little boy has noticed when watching Power Rangers on TV that it is filmed in NZ and now he is convinced that he is going to see Power Rangers everywhere we go :roll

Does anyone know where they film it? When we get there he is going to be soooo disappointed if he doesn't get to see any and I can see my whole life consumed with trying to find them! :wah :laugh

According to wikipedia they have been filming the show in NZ since 2003. Ironically enough I have a friend who played the yellow ranger during the "Dino Thunder" season back in the 90's.

I too have a Power Rangers fan - our 5.5yr old. He had their new dvd for christmas and we had it on almost every day whilst we were off........... and we bought him the Optimus Prime helmet that talk.............say no more!!!

I live in Devonport, Auckland and apart from the odd dress up costume I've never seen any power rangers (although I notice yours is spelt with an 'e' so maybe a different place?).

We do get quite a few adverts filmed here and there are often film crews about, so I will ask around just in case ..... but unlikely.

So definitely filmed in NZ and it looks like different episodes are filmed in different places. There seem to be quite a few NZ actors in it as well.

A good way to do a full search is to bring up:

www.google.co.nz

Put in something like 'power rangers episode' and choose the 'pages from NZ' option underneath.
