OH has got a job offer, money not quite what we wanted but close and they are giving some assisstance in removal costs.

Now the stress is cutting in. We were going to rent our house out but not so sure now, think we need to sell.

Youngest son is OK I think, but nearly 13yr old is not so sure. It all happened a bit quick so is abit of a shock for them and us a little.
He is just very shy and hates change, esp. schools.

I know it's normal but I'm questioning our sanity and ability to survive this and I haven't even told my Mum yet! BIG problem there.

Once my few remaining neurons have got it together again - 'I will be back' -
.... with loads a questions!!!! :D

firstly, well done !! a job offer makes things so much easier

secondly, you guys sound just like us six months ago - didnt know whether to rent or sell, sure mother and family would go nuts, not so sure about kids etc. .....

take it easy but work hard at it ... everything will fall in to place

best of luck :clap

We are heading for Wellington, where we live depends on schools for year 9 upwards so I have shortlisted Paraparaumu, Tawa, Onslow, HVHS and Wellington college, all with the help of various formites and hours spent on internet.
All we can do now is visit areas and schools when we arrive. I would love to live in Setoun area but schools tricky there, but there is always Eastbourne after all I did win £29 on lottery last night :raebanana

I also looked on 'open2view' at Waikanae and hills behind as I would love to have chucks and alpacas!!:D

Time is dependant on PR but aiming for April/May, just in time for when schools are on holiday, but then it would be boring if straightforward!
Company OH will work for is a fast track one - will immgration pick that up from EOI? or do we need to do something.

As I have an inherited blood clotting disorder we can't risk not getting PR before OH hands in notice in UK. So fingers crossed and EOI going in soon.
