To give you any realistic idea, we would really need to know more e.g. do you want to live in Wellington city or the suburbs, how far are you prepared to commute etc.

One website that you may find useful is Help Sell My Property (http://nz.helpsellmyproperty.net/?m=/content/main/SearchProperties.ascx) which you can use to find actual house sales in the area of interest. It doesn't have every house sale but does have enough to get a good idea of prices.
