Last few times I changed some money my wire fee was £7.39. This time its £11.36! (for the same amount)
Is this because the currency market has changed or have they just hiked their fees for the New Year?
Cheers

From the website it now says that the cost is £12 or NZ$28 so looks like it has changed?
If you actually select a currency it works out the cost to £11.44
It also says this:-
These estimates are based on current exchange rates. The
actual wire fee charged will depend on the market conditions
at the time the trade is placed.
So looks like it changes.

Just out of interest is the price quoted with xe on the currency convertor the price you get when you trade with them ? I've never used them but have assumed the converter rates are the interbank rates as they are so good.

Thanks IanW99.
So if I am reading it right, they have put the fees up, but then it can vary around that point, which is why you might be charged £11.44 or £11.36?
Or are they just reserving the right to change the fees whenever they like?
It seems a big increase from £7.39 before Xmas to £11.36 after!
Oh well, not much I can do about in anyway.

Agreed, it does appear that they have put the fees up. I don't think that they are reserving the right to change the fees, it is just that they probably work in USD and have to keep adjusting the fees from other countries as the exchange rates fluctuate. Seems a little strange as most companies would set a fee and live with the fluctuation?
They may not even have changed the fees at all, the exchange rate may just be much worse than it was before. It does seem a big jump though :(
