We have our medicals today and i'm nervous as hell !

I'm wondering what they entail ... I mean is it the old rubber glove, "please bend over sir" sort of treatment or something less intrusive ?

also re: BMI, will a letter from my dietician stating that my bmi is <35 be ok for that check or is the doctor likely to use a different scales etc. to weigh me and thus push me over the limit :exit

If your BMI is over, they will do extra blood tests, and may still just pass you right through without a blink of an eye.

Ours contained sight, abdominal check, BMI, blood pressure health history, urine. Good luck oh and bloods gets sent off for hepatitis, aids, syphillis checks i think

Yes, much the same as Belmont Babes as i remember. We had ours done over here in NZ. I remember having a further check as i have breast cancer in the family. Lots of questions asked........... and that was it really. Think we were in with Dr about 40 mins or so

My waist measurement was borderline so he got me to stretch tall a few times and then breathe in. Then he passed me! Yayyy

just back and it wasn't at all as bad as i thought :yes

BMI was fine but waist was borderline so have to have the other tests done regardless ... have to go back tomorrow for bloods as if taken today they would sit there until tomorrow anyway and the dr was worried they wouldnt hold
