I am curious how many Americans have settled in Wellington... if you are from the US- could we do a head count? Do you know of any group or website? I know there was a group in Nelson.
We are moving to Wellington in February and would love to meet new people- Americans or not. Hope to put together an additional meet-up in March or? and might want to create a social group or book club for expats unless someone knows of one already.
We are in our late 40's and are management/ marketing consultants. Love to drink great wine, eat good food, tramp, bike, sail, and spend time with good friends.
We are no supporters of Bush or the current adminstration- one big reason for leaving, but fully defend everyone's right to their own opinion.
