The way I understand it is that our PR visa will get us into NZ. But if/when we have to come to the UK to visit (God help us), then we need a Returning Residents Visa to get back to NZ. Can someone tell me if this involves loads of form-filling, medicals etc and lots of money ?

I would have hoped not and that it's a case of filling out a simple form.

cheers

We just got our passports back today with Residence Visa and Returning Residence Visa stamped inside so hope that helps.

What kind of paper work is needed once we been there 5 years for us to get citizenship - long way off I know but want to be organised.

Don't forget you've to apply for your IRRV between RRV's and Citizenship!
