Hello every one,
I have submited my ITA with all documents to NZIS in the month of december 2007, according to them it will take 3 - 4 months for PR(WTR).
Meantime can i visit NZ and search for jobs on Visitor visa .
Are people sucessfull doing this way
Or
Should I wait till I get my PR(WTR).
Some IT jobs posted online , says " You should be authorized to work in NZ "
Please guide me.

Hiya Raghujadhav
Yes, you can come to NZ on a visitors via while you are waiting for the results of your ITA. Officially, you can't work - but you CAN look for jobs. If that job search leads to an offer you can get a work visa which will last you until your PR comes through.
This is what we did - although we were fairly positive our ITA etc would all go through ok.
You could also move your NZIS files to NZ and finish the process here - best check with your Case Officer that it's not toooo far down the line to process elsewhere first though.
Most jobs will want to see you in person - some people are lucky to have telephone interviews before they come - but on the whole you are much better to be here, on the ground and more employers will want to see you.
If you're certain your ITA is going to go through with no problems, I see no reason why you can't be here searching for a job - as I said, that's what we did.
Good luck
