Hi, we were wondering if anyone from the forum could help with any information regarding expected salaries in the Tauranga area. We have residence visas and are planning on emigrating towards the back end of this year as long as the house sale is succesful in the UK. Other than the emotions we keep having about leaving the family behind the only other thing we keep asking ourselves is will we be able to earn enough to live the life we want in NZ. I am a process technician working for a company who are soon to be owned by Hexion which I believe have a site in Tauranga. We are a manufacturing site with in the chemical industry. I have information on various companies in the BOP that would be able to use my skills,Bulk storage chemicals, Argent and a few others but I am unable to source any details on what sort of salary I could expect. My wife works in the Human resources department at the same company as myself, but again we are struggling to get an idea of what she could earn in the BOP. I have found a salary scale for Wellington and Auckland but wondered if any one could provide us with any local information, may be some one who works at any of these companies or is in similar employment in NZ. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
