Hi all,

I am Robert and I am in need of advice for relocating, we have just received our ITA and I have also had a preliminary job offer in Whangerai, can anyone tell me about the area, is it a nice place to live.

We have four sons agea 1 / 8 / 11 & 14 to bring over, the job is as an Electrician, any advice would be welcome.

hi Robert,

We are in Whangarei and it is a nice place to be, when we moved here we had the thought that if you are going to move 12,000 mile you may as well move where the weather is generally good, there are lots of beaches around whangarei and its only about an hour the the beautiful Bay of Islands.
There are some good schools too. your 14 year old will be in high school, 11 year old in intermediate and you 8 year old in primary.

I agree with Nicola, we came here for the weather, plus it is close enough to Akl to make selling our business' products relatively easy. I am a few kms outside Whg, and we can get everything we need fairly easily.
