Any recs for a VOIP service to let family easily keep in touch with you from the USA? We use Skype, but I heard that there are services with a phone number that you can use to let people call you as if it was a long-distance (instead of an intl call).

As you are already using Skype, would suggest you check their Online Number (http://www.skype.com/intl/en/allfeatures/onlinenumber/) feature, as this appears to do what you need?
